Wholesale Sales Representative
Location: Remote - worldwide
(UK timezone - preference to South African CDD)
Compensation: $1,000/month + tiered comm – $100 for every new deal under £5000, $200 for new every deal £5,000 - 9,999; $300 for every new deal £10,000 - 19,999; $500 for every new deal over £20,000, small comm on sample orders
Industry: Home Appliances / E-commerce
Schedule: Full-time 40 hrs/week, aligned with UK business hours until launch of UAE market in July 2025 - degree of flexibility thereafter
Mission
Drive wholesale sales growth by proactively identifying and closing opportunities with retailers and online sellers, strengthening the company’s footprint in the UK, UAE and EU markets.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of wholesale leads through market research and outreach.
- Initiate contact with potential partners via email and cold calling.
- Manage follow-ups and close deals, focusing on small-to-mid-sized wholesale accounts.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Evaluate and propose pricing and commission structures that support market competitiveness.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools to manage outreach, pipeline tracking, and performance analytics.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Demonstrated experience in wholesale or e-commerce sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient with Google Docs
- Strong research abilities to identify new business opportunities.
- Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior exposure to the UK and/or EU retail markets HIGHLY preferred
- Understanding of commissions, margins, and incentive-based sales structures.
- Background in home goods, appliances, or direct-to-consumer brands.
