Position Overview:
Grenova is seeking a sales professional with a background in life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and/or laboratory automation. The ideal candidate will have a science-related degree, 3+ years of sales experience, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, especially in capital equipment or complex integration into laboratories. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales cycle, building new business relationships, and maintaining a strong sales funnel. Strong communication, time management, and CRM (HubSpot) skills are essential, along with a commitment to professionalism and integrity in all sales activities. Travel is required for this position.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in science or a comparable degree.
• 3+ years of sales experience in life sciences, clinical diagnostics and/or lab automation.
• Territory and account management experience in developing new markets.
• Experience selling capital equipment or complex integrations to the laboratories.
• Experience managing large sales territory.
• Proven self-starter with an ability to find and build new business relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior time management skills and the ability to complete tasks from the road.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and close new customer opportunities to achieve assigned sales quotas, including quarterly revenue targets.
•Own and manage the full capital equipment sales cycle, from initial prospect engagement through pilot programs and contract close.
•Expand revenue within existing accounts through the sale of additional instruments, consumables, and service contracts.
•Proactively identify and pursue new prospects through direct outreach (calls, in-person meetings) and indirect channels, including networking and collaboration with internal technical teams.
•Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of current and future opportunities to drive adoption, utilization, and long-term account growth within the territory.
•Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business challenges and requirements and clearly articulating the value proposition of company solutions.
•Identify, engage, and present to key decision-makers, including senior executives and operational leaders.
•Collaborate closely with technical support, applications, and product marketing teams to address customer needs and support complex sales opportunities.
•Qualify prospects against defined ideal customer profiles and sales stage criteria to ensure effective pipeline management.
•Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed CRM records, including customer interactions,
opportunity notes, and pipeline status, to support forecasting for current and future quarters.
• Partner with Marketing to plan and execute territory-specific lead generation and demand creation initiatives including development of sales tools and materials.
• Provide actionable feedback to sales leadership on opportunities to shorten the sales cycle, improve win rates, and strengthen brand presence.
• Share market intelligence with company leadership, including trends, competitive activity, unmet customer needs, and opportunities to expand offerings.
• Attend and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events as assigned.
• Conduct all sales activities with the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
