About the opportunity
Join QIAGEN’s UK & Ireland Sales team and help shape the future of Clinical Genomics. In this field‑based role, you will drive the growth of our Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and digital PCR (dPCR) portfolio within Oncology, partnering closely with clinical customers, key opinion leaders and internal teams.
You will play a central role in shaping and aligning the strategic plan for this portfolio group to target our Oncology business and support QIAGEN’s mission to make improvements in life possible.
Your tasks
Budget achievement within the UK & Ireland region. You will be responsible for proactively searching for new business and growing our NGS and dPCR portfolios within the Oncology accounts.
Identify and nurture relationships with Clinical KOLs and strategic networks to identify new application areas.
Support the UK Account Management team with in-field meetings and joint visits to grow territory sales for NGS and dPCR.
Effective weekly and monthly planning of field based activities. Report and forecast to the sales manager and via the customer relationship management system (CRM).
Maintain and expand market knowledge including technology trends, commercial awareness of competitors, and latest scientific findings to develop deep market insights.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure excellent customer experience and an innovative approach.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; PhD or equivalent lab experience is an advantage.
Strong technical aptitude in NGS and/or digital PCR is essential; knowledge of QIAGEN’s portfolio is desirable.
Proven experience in complex sales cycles essential, ideally within the Clinical Oncology environment.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute strategic business plans while managing competing priorities.
A collaborative, dependable team player who thrives in a cross‑functional environment and enjoys working with others.
Based in the UK with good transport links and willing to travel up to 80%; a full UK driving license is required.
