Salesforce Data Analyst

Job Summary

Hands-on Salesforce Data Analyst needed for our Revenue Operations team in a home remodeling business. Focus: Build reports, dashboards, and insights using Salesforce (including Field Service Lightning - FSL) to support sales, field operations, scheduling, and profitability. Excel at translating vague user requests into clear solutions.

Individual contributor role reporting to RevOps leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit and clarify requirements from non-technical stakeholders (sales, project managers, finance and Leadership).
  • Build/maintain reports, dashboards, formulas, validation rules, and flows in Salesforce.
  • Investigate and fix data issues (e.g., discrepancies in jobs, commissions, duplicates).
  • Deliver insights on metrics like job profitability, technician performance, scheduling efficiency, and lead-to-install funnels.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis using SOQL, Data Loader, or Excel.
  • Maintain data integrity and document solutions.
  • Partner with RevOps Project Manager to prioritize and clear reporting backlog.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on Salesforce experience focused on reporting/analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce reports/dashboards and SOQL.
  • Strong requirements-gathering skills for ambiguous requests.
  • Analytical mindset for large datasets and discrepancy resolution.
  • Proficiency with Data Loader, Excel (advanced formulas/pivots).
  • Excellent communication with non-technical users.

Preferred

  • Integration experience (e.g., ERP, billing tools).
  • Basic Flow Builder knowledge.
  • Experience with Field Service Lightning (FSL)
  • Experience using Power BI to build dashboards, reports, and actionable business insights
  • Familiarity with AI agents and their practical use in business workflows, automation, analysis, or decision support
