The Department of Information Technology (IT) plays a vital role in advancing customer-centered innovation across the organization. It is structured into three specialized technical bureaus: Business Enablement, Customer Success and Productivity, Technology Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. Collectively, staff members work together to provide essential services and technical support to all City staff and business functions. The City is dependent on IT to provide technology solutions that meet business function and organizational needs, while balancing security and support requirements. As the demand for secure, efficient, and business-aligned technology solutions continues to grow, IT is responsible for setting the strategic direction for enterprise technology. This includes identifying, recommending, implementing, and maintaining systems and tools that support the City’s operational and organizational goals. With a team of 95 dedicated professionals, the department delivers essential services and technical support to all City staff and business functions.
