Overview

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology and business? Our Enterprise Business Systems department is on the lookout for a talented IT Business Analyst to join our innovative team.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with business leaders to identify and define opportunities that align with our strategic goals. You will be instrumental in mapping out system processes and technologies that not only support our business strategies but also enhance our capabilities, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive technological innovation.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Transform stakeholder needs into actionable requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams, facilitating effective communication and solution implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and artifacts by employing agile methodologies.
  • Lead stakeholder requirements sessions and workshops across projects, supporting them with regular check-ins for all involved stakeholders.
  • Convert requirements into work items and pass them on to development teams, organizing them into appropriate structures such as Epics, Projects, and Programs.
  • Work with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and that the requirements are met.
  • Integrate new methodologies and technological practices to keep EBS at the forefront of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help oversee the Change Control Board, leading meetings and decision-making processes to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct and participate in agile ceremonies, promoting a culture of agility, continuous improvement, and teamwork through stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.
  • Identify and foster collaboration opportunities with other departments, teams, and projects.
  • Utilize strategic decision-making and operational improvements via data and metrics.
  • Innovate and improve data accuracy and relevance to business needs.
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and demos, elevating the knowledge and skills of users and stakeholders.
  • Support other analysts in driving projects by helping achieve the requirements through requirements sessions, user testing, demos, creating agile artifacts, etc.
  • Drive the alignment of EBS initiatives with organizational strategies, demonstrating foresight and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
  • Ensure the seamless operation and continuous improvement of EBS processes, leveraging technological solutions to meet business needs.
  • Exhibit leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within EBS and across the organization.
  • Utilize reporting and data analysis to inform strategic decisions, ensuring EBS initiatives are guided by accurate and actionable insights.

  • For this role, we anticipate paying $99,000K - $121,000K annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Qualifications

Preferred Skills/Background:

  • Education:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role, supporting both project and operational aspects of back-office functional areas, such as Accounting, HR, and Operational Support applications.
    • Experience in developing requirements, functional specifications, testing activities, quality assurance, and project support.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
    • Knowledge of IT implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
    • Proficiency in creating and maintaining project-related artifacts using Agile methodologies.
  • Communication and Collaboration:

    • Excellent listening, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership and Initiative:

    • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and ownership with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Ability to lead stakeholder requirements sessions and workshops.
  • Additional Skills:

    • Experience in data analysis and the development and rollout of training materials.
    • Ability to identify and foster collaboration opportunities with other departments, teams, and projects.
