We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Health Data Analyst to collect, process, and interpret healthcare data to support clinical, operational, and business decision-making. This is a fully remote position with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate healthcare data from multiple sources (EHRs, claims, registries, etc.)
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to patient outcomes and healthcare operations
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to define data needs and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA
- Perform statistical analysis to support quality improvement and population health initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format
- Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelorβs degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field is a plus.
- 0β3+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis (entry-level roles may accept internships)
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and terminology
