Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base by identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential partners, and promoting our telenutrition services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, coupled with a strong background in sales or business development.?


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Present and promote Dietitian Live’s services to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Requirements


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, with a strong plus for experience in corporate wellness and/or fitness industry
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn Sales for business development and networking
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
  • Passion for health, wellness, and nutrition is a plus

  • Consistently identifies and qualifies high-quality leads, with a focus on improving lead-to-opportunity conversion rates.
  • Strategically builds and advances a robust sales pipeline, ensuring steady lead flow and progression through each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Demonstrates a strong track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals through effective prospecting and client conversion.
  • Maintains high levels of outreach and engagement, meeting key activity benchmarks including calls, emails, meetings booked, and demos delivered.
  • Excels at building trust with key stakeholders and decision-makers, leading to deeper relationships and stronger conversion outcomes.
  • Actively seeks and incorporates feedback to refine outreach strategies, improve effectiveness, and stay aligned with evolving market needs.

Measures of Success:

  • Lead Generation and Conversion Rates: 
    • Measure the number of qualified leads generated per month and the conversion rate from leads to opportunities.
  • Pipeline Growth
    • Track the growth of the sales pipeline by monitoring the progression of leads through various stages of the sales cycle.
    • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure constant lead flow even after a sale is made
  • Revenue Targets
    • Hit and exceed revenue goals quarterly and yearly
  • Client Acquisition
    • Measure the number of new clients acquired through the prospecting
  • Activity Metrics
    • Monitor KPIs such as outbound calls, emails sent, meetings scheduled, and demos conducted.
  • Relationship Building
    • Assess the quality and depth of relationships built with potential clients and key stakeholders.
    • Ability to set calls and meet with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Feedback and Improvement
    • Incorporate feedback, iterate on strategies, and continuously improve performance.

Compensation: 

  • Base Salary: $70,000 annually
  • Commission Structure: Performance-based commissions
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 - $100,000 annually
