We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive Business Development Manager (Hunter Sales) with a proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the US region. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise and/or networks in one or more verticals: Media & Entertainment, Automotive, Retail, or EduTech, and must be passionate about driving sales in localization, content globalization, or AI-driven services.
The role demands a hunter mindset – someone who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, opening doors, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
New Business Generation
Identify, pursue, and close new enterprise-level clients, particularly within your vertical specialization.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across key accounts and territories.
Leverage your existing network to generate leads and opportunities quickly.
Vertical Strategy & Positioning
Understand the unique needs of verticals like M&E, Automotive, Retail, or EduTech and tailor value propositions accordingly.
Collaborate with marketing and solutions teams to create verticalized GTM strategies.
Localization & Language Services
Position our localization and language solutions effectively with prospects, especially those scaling content and communication for global markets.
AI Enablement
Stay abreast of the latest in AI and GenAI, particularly its applications in content creation, translation, personalization, and customer engagement.
Identify opportunities to embed AI into client workflows and co-create solutions with internal teams.
Sales Lifecycle Management
Own the end-to-end sales process: from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, to closure.
Maintain sales hygiene through regular updates in CRM tools and forecast reporting.
Collaboration & Feedback
Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and product teams to develop client-specific solutions.
Provide market and customer insights to leadership to influence product/service roadmap.
5–10 years of proven B2B sales experience in the US market, with a hunter focus and measurable success in closing large deals.
Domain knowledge or network in at least one of the following industries:
Media & Entertainment (e.g., OTT, gaming, publishing, studios)
Automotive (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, digital auto platforms)
Retail & eCommerce (omnichannel, D2C brands, B2B platforms)
EduTech (K-12, higher education, corporate learning platforms)
Experience selling localization services, content globalization, or SaaS/AI-based platforms is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of localization workflows, translation technologies, and multilingual content strategies.
Basic knowledge of AI/GenAI trends and how they impact global content, marketing, and customer experience.
Highly self-driven, resourceful, and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and client engagement skills.
Existing network of decision-makers and influencers in the target vertical(s)
Exposure to LLMs, NLP, or AI-driven content tools is a strong plus
Experience working with global and culturally diverse teams
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a relevant field
