We are seeking an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Change function at NHS Professionals (NHSP). This is a senior, high‑impact leadership role designed for someone who can shape meaningful change across NHSP’s most strategic programmes.
Operating at the intersection of people, process, and technology, you will lead complex analytical work that underpins major transformation initiatives across operational and digital domains. You will bring clarity to ambiguity, ensure problems are correctly understood, and translate business needs into solutions that deliver measurable organisational value.
Beyond your analytical expertise, you will lead, develop, and mentor a team of Business Analysts, setting standards of excellence, strengthening NHSP’s analytical capability, and fostering a culture that embraces challenge, innovation, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who is not just a BA, but a strategic thinker, trusted advisor, and influential leader capable of driving change at scale across a dynamic organisation.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
At NHSP, your work will directly support improvements to how the NHS delivers care. You’ll contribute to meaningful transformation at scale, influence strategic decisions, and develop the analytical capability of a growing team.
If you’re driven by purpose, motivated by complex challenges, and passionate about leading analytical excellence—this is the role for you.
Able to unpick complex issues, define the real problem, and craft structured, evidence‑based recommendations.
Comfortable leading workshops, shaping conversations, and engaging senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
Someone who acts as a thought partner—able to challenge respectfully, provide insight, and guide stakeholders towards better outcomes.
Passionate about coaching others, growing capability, and setting high analytical standards.
Curious, modern in approach, and proactive in identifying opportunities for automation, digital improvement, or service design.
Able to handle competing priorities, manage ambiguity, and maintain high quality under pressure.
In return for your commitment, we will offer you some fantastic benefits:
