Your Role:

As a Sales Representative & Account Manager, you will drive new revenue growth while nurturing existing customer relationships within the FreePBX and Sangoma ecosystem. You’ll work directly with IT decision-makers, SMBs, mid-market enterprises, and reseller partners to deliver the right mix of open-source and commercial solutions to meet their business needs.

  • Drive new business development by identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities for FreePBX-certified hardware, SIP trunking, UCaaS/CCaaS solutions, and Sangoma commercial modules.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects and accounts, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Act as the primary contact for inbound leads, converting interest into sales opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within their communications infrastructure.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and needs assessment to presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, track KPIs, and document all interactions in the CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
  • Maintain and grow assigned key accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and revenue expansion.
  • Collaborate internally with technical, support, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and an excellent customer experience.
  • Stay informed about open-source market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving customer needs to effectively position Sangoma solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas, account growth targets, and retention metrics while contributing to overall team success.

  • SMBs & Mid-Market Enterprises seeking cost-effective, scalable VoIP and Unified Communications solutions
  • Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT Resellers deploying FreePBX or Asterisk-based systems
  • Call centers and hosted PBX providers needing UCaaS/CCaaS platforms
  • Organizations migrating from legacy PBX systems to modern SIP/VoIP infrastructures
  • International markets leveraging FreePBX for localized deployments


Requirements

Your Background

  • 3–5 years of sales experience in technology, preferably VoIP, PBX, or open-source software solutions
  • Experience with account management, maintaining long-term client relationships while driving revenue growth
  • Familiarity with FreePBX, Asterisk, or open-source telephony ecosystems is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and productivity tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
