Accountabilities
- Manage analytics and machine learning projects from kick-off to completion.
- Guide junior team members and conduct advanced statistical analyses.
- Use predictive modeling to enhance efficiencies and business outcomes.
- Partner with subject matter experts to deliver actionable findings.
- Present analytics and insights to various stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities within Medicare and Medicaid data.
- Advocate for best practices in data management.
- Communicate effectively with team members while working remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related area.
- 5+ years of experience with healthcare claims data for fraud detection.
- Minimum of 2 years managing team-based analytics projects.
- Ability to simplify and explain data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with R for data science.
- Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake is advantageous.
