Norwegian Language Expert (Remote, Contract, AI training) — Micro1 via AI Gig Scout

Micro1 is engaging Norwegian Language Experts (1 opening), remote contract at $10–$45/hr, to help train next-generation AI systems with native-level Norwegian speech and language expertise. No prior AI experience is required.

You will record high-quality Norwegian audio samples with clear pronunciation and minimal background noise; transcribe and annotate audio data to established guidelines; evaluate speech-data quality and give constructive feedback; collaborate with the customer's team on AI workflow processes; apply phonetic knowledge for correct pronunciation and intonation; keep organized records of audio files, annotations and evaluation results; and communicate clearly in writing and verbally to improve processes.

Requirements: native or near-native Norwegian with strong pronunciation and linguistic nuance; experience in audio recording (voice acting, podcasting, music production or similar) is highly valued; speech-data collection or AI workflows preferred but not required; keen attention to detail for transcription and annotation; awareness of phonetics and standard Norwegian pronunciation; excellent written and verbal communication for remote feedback; ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks remotely. Preferred: audio engineering or speech-related projects; prior language-data or AI work; academic background in linguistics, phonetics or related.
