Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by identifying opportunities and leading sales initiatives.
  • Build and deepen relationships with key institutional channels, including:
    • Investment consultants
    • Sub-advisory platforms
    • Foundations and endowments
    • Public and corporate pension plans
  • Represent the firm’s investment philosophy and strategies with clarity and professionalism across all client interactions.
  • Deliver high-touch client service, ensuring consistent communication, responsiveness, and tailored support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (portfolio management, operations, compliance) to align client needs with firm capabilities.
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting, including performance updates and customized communications.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record of growing AUM
  • Proven track record managing consultant relationships and institutional clients
  • Self-starter with a high degree of professionalism and independence
  • Deep understanding of investment products, capital markets, and institutional decision-making processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 10+ years of experience in institutional investment sales
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license required

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New AUM raised from institutional channels
  • Institutional client retention and satisfaction
  • Sales activity metrics: calls, meetings, presentations
  • CRM discipline: timely updates, contact management, and detailed notes
  • Pipeline management: accurate tracking by stage progression and mandate size

The expected base salary range for this position is generally between $200,000 to $250,000 per year.  This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus as part of a total compensation package, which includes company sponsored benefits.  Base salary is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and market factors.
