Basic Purpose and Function: Responsible for direct advertising sales in marketing products (community maps, magazines, relocation guides, etc.) by way of targeting small to medium sized business owners that are members of local chambers of commerce and other membership focused organizations.

Duties:

  • Dial an average 80 calls per day, 400 per week.
  • Utilize provided software programs, that include, but are not limited to, SalesForce, RingCentral and MS Excel.
  • Leave scripted voicemail messages when unable to reach point of contact.
  • Provide templated email sales support material, as requested, by the chamber member.
  • Send completed daily sales reports (per project) to accounting department and sales manager daily.

Performance Standards: The incumbent is expected to exceed a minimum of $3,000 in weekly sales.

Internal: Town Square sales manager, accounting, and ad services team.

External: Small to medium sized business owners that are members of their local chambers of commerce.

Qualifications

  • Software knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Related work experience: Must have relevant sales or customer service work experience.
  • Education level: Bachelors degree preferred in related sales or communications fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Other: Must have exemplary customer service communication skills.
