One of our companies is currently looking for a Data Scientist, Product Data Science in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, product, and strategy, helping guide high-impact decisions for one of Canadaโ€™s most prominent fintech platforms. As a Data Scientist on the Product Data Science team, you will design experiments, build predictive models, and create scalable data solutions that support growth and product innovation. Youโ€™ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver insights and shape product development. Accountabilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support growth and product development initiatives through data.
  • Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests to evaluate new features and business strategies.
  • Build and deploy machine learning models to improve product functionality and personalization.
  • Create reliable data models and pipelines that serve as a foundation for analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure robust documentation, testing, and version control of your code and models.
  • Translate complex data problems into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Promote a data-driven culture by sharing best practices and mentoring team members.



Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Deep understanding of statistical inference, including both Bayesian and frequentist methods.
  • Knowledge of core machine learning techniques such as regression and decision trees.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments and adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses and applying software engineering best practices to data workflows.
  • Passion for continuous learning, team collaboration, and delivering meaningful impact through data.
