One of our companies is currently looking for a Commercial P&C Data Analyst in Canada.
This role is ideal for an early-career data professional who is eager to make a measurable impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will work closely with analytics leaders and cross-functional teams to support reporting, sales strategy, and data integrity initiatives within the Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) sector. The position combines technical skills in Power BI and Excel with business acumen and a proactive mindset to deliver data-driven insights. Your work will help enhance client solutions and enable smarter, faster decision-making across departments.
Accountabilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to uncover trends and generate insights for business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI.
- Prepare and deliver presentations that translate technical data into accessible, visual storytelling for internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify data needs, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in data integrations via APIs and support projects related to CRM systems and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs and contribute to data quality initiatives.
- Support strategic planning by providing actionable insights that drive commercial growth and performance.
Requirements - Bachelorβs degree in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1β2 years of relevant data analysis experience, ideally in a commercial or insurance-related setting.
- Strong skills in Excel and Power BI; familiarity with data visualization and reporting best practices.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics), SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- A sales-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to using data in support of business goals.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
