About the Role:
Quantiphi is seeking a seasoned Architect – Software Developer to lead the design, architecture, and development of high-impact software solutions across diverse technologies. This individual will contribute to projects that include migrating legacy systems, modernizing storefront applications, and enhancing embedded analytics dashboards—with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and cloud-native architecture.
This role requires full-stack expertise with a strong foundation in Java, front-end development, RESTful API design, and experience working with multiple programming languages (including C#, Node.js, and PHP). You’ll be collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to deliver customer-centric, data-driven applications for a rapidly evolving client landscape.
What Success Look Like:
Design and implement full-stack applications and services with scalability, performance, and security in mind
Lead data migration efforts, including the onboarding of customers from platforms like Blackboard, ensuring compatibility with varying formats and structures (Node.js/C#)
Develop and optimize embedded analytics dashboards using AWS QuickSight, Highcharts, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, jQuery)
Modernize legacy applications (e.g., a PHP-based storefront) to support enhanced functionality, UX, and maintainability
Architect and build robust backend services in Java (11 & 17) and Spring MVC
Implement and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless system interoperability
Build responsive and intuitive UIs using JavaScript (jQuery, React/Angular) and HTML/CSS
Work within Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) to deploy and scale applications
Promote coding standards, perform code reviews, mentor developers, and contribute to overall technical strategy
Support CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and secure development practices
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of hands-on software development experience with architectural leadership
Strong proficiency in Java (11 & 17), Spring MVC, SQL, and RESTful APIs
Solid experience with Node.js and C# in production environments
Proficiency with JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure; GCP or AWS are also acceptable
Strong understanding of dashboarding tools such as AWS QuickSight and Highcharts
Exposure to legacy systems and ability to lead modernization projects (e.g., PHP-based applications)
Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, and test automation
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
Nice to haves:
Exposure to SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) standards, especially in EdTech or LMS-related projects
Experience with GenAI-assisted development tools
Exposure to both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Background working in data-rich or EdTech environments.
